THE VARIETY SHOW
This marked the second attempt by the Theatre Troupe and Directors
to find a combination of entertainment and fund raiser to get the
Michael J. Hanson Performing Arts Scholarship a viable scholarship to
give to students going on in the performing arts.
The idea arose to bring back an almost forgotten tradition at FHS - The Variety Show.
Needless to say, it worked. The students now raise money for the scholarship fund and the scholarships are given out in May during a school wide awards ceremony. Dr. Cheryl Freund, a collegue and friend of Michael J. Hanson, presents the awards.
